In-House Training – Geography

Mrs. Angel Evangeline, who had recently attended the KISA Training for Geography, conducted an In-House Training session for the teachers of Classes 3 to 10 on 19th September 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The session was highly engaging and informative, offering practical strategies to make the teaching of Geography more effective by involving students and enhancing their practical skills. Mrs. Angel emphasized the application of Bloom’s Taxonomy in framing higher-order questions and illustrated this with relevant examples. She also guided the teachers on establishing curricular priorities that focus on enduring understanding among pupils. Furthermore, she introduced the concept of backward design in teaching methods, highlighting how it helps in achieving the desired learning outcomes. The training provided valuable insights into the fundamental concepts, skills, and innovative techniques required to teach Geography effectively. It was a meaningful session that enriched teachers with new perspectives and practical approaches to classroom teaching.
