Our kindergarten children created models on the different types of houses and the things in it by using carton boxes, hay, twigs, reusable plastic and so on. This hands-on project was designed to foster creativity, imagination and a variety of essential skills necessary to develop their learning. As our little ones built their models, they had the freedom to design their unique house, choose colours, decorate their creations, express their creativity and enhance their cognitive skills. The process of cutting, folding and assembling the cardboard not only sparked their creativity but also helped them to develop their fine motor skills. The children practiced precision as they worked on their models which improved their hand-eye coordination and manual abilities. This wonderful experience also introduced them to basic concepts like house structure, rooms and things in a house. It also helped them to understand the different house styles build according to the terrains. Sharing their creations with the class kept them engaged and excited about learning. To wrap up the activity, we organized a display where the children could showcase their models. This event fostered pride in their work and encouraged them to share their experience in the process.
