St. Charles High School, in collaboration with Manipal Hospital, organized a CPR and First Responder Awareness Session for Std. X students on 29th July, 2026, in the School Auditorium. Conducted by a team of five Pediatric Emergency Doctors, the session covered the basics of CPR, correct chest compression techniques, recognizing signs of cardiac arrest, and the role of a first responder before medical help arrives. Students actively participated, gaining practical knowledge to respond confidently during emergencies. The programme reinforced the importance of preparedness, staying calm, and timely intervention, empowering students with essential life-saving skills and a sense of responsible citizenship.
