School section was held on 12th July and the meeting was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Jonas Richard, Head of the Department of Social Work, Director of the Centre for Life Skills and Centre for Professional Excellence and Lifelong Learning, and Co-Ordinator for the United Nations Academic Impact Hub for Sustainable Development Goals at Kristu Jayanti College, Bangalore. The Chief Guest delivered an insightful and inspiring speech on the vital role of parenting in shaping the future generation. Emphasizing that parenting is both a privilege and a responsibility, the speaker highlighted the importance of creating a nurturing and supportive environment at home. Key points included the value of quality time with children, understanding their emotional needs, setting healthy boundaries, and being positive role models. The address also encouraged parents to foster open communication, instill values, and support their children’s holistic development—academically, emotionally, and socially. The session was enriching and left the audience with valuable takeaways on conscious and compassionate parenting.
